On Working with High School Athletes and Young Patients…
“I work with high school athletes and younger patients from the DeKalb and Sycamore area. Rehabilitation is similar for all ages of athletes and patients, but the athletic trainer must take in account the dierences between the young population and the adult population. When working with young athletes and patients, the individual’s skill level, motor development, and sometimes attention span have to be addressed during the design of their treatment plan.”
