Dr. Brisbin graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign- Urbana, and completed medical school at Rush Medical College in Chicago. She completed her internship at the University of Florida and completed a family practice residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago, Christ Hospital Medical Center.

She completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center through the MacNeal Family Practice Residency Program. She is board certified in family practice, sports medicine, and wound care and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Professional Wound Care Association.
