How Team MOI Views the Individual Patient…
“We try to modify rehabilitation to each individual’s needs and get them back to their optimal activity level, whether it’s competitive athletics or leisure activities. Everyone’s activity level is different. We have excellent communication with our physicians and access to notes about the patient’s surgery or MRI results, which allows us to tailor our rehab program appropriately for each individual.”
On the Role of Patient Education…
“I am a big believer in patient education. e program we develop for a patient is designed to improve function and relieve pain. If I can explain to a patient why they are doing an exercise or stretch and why it’s important to follow the program at home, it helps the patient buy into our program and ultimately get back to their activities as soon as possible.”
