Brittany Herrmann, P.T.
Education. . .
Brittany attended Northern Illinois University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Sciences with an emphasis on pre-physical therapy in December 2015. She continued on at Northern Illinois University to earn a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2019. Brittany then joined MOI in August of 2019 as a full time physical therapist in the Sandwich location where she treats a variety of diagnoses ranging from low back pain to post-surgical rehabilitation.

Choosing Physical Therapy. . .
Brittany chose to be a physical therapist because it is unique from the other healthcare careers due to the fact that physical therapists work closely with their patients to attain specific goals and improve every patient’s quality of life with each visit. She states there are so many reasons that she enjoys her career as a physical therapist, but the most valuable thing she has found is the opportunity to create friendships with each of her patients.

Motivating Her Patients. . .
Brittany believes that the best way to motivate her patients is by working towards goals that are important to the patients themselves. She dedicates time to help her patients develop their own personal goals and then designs specific exercises for each session to help the individual achieve each of those goals.

Life Outside of MOI. . .
Outside of work, Brittany spends most of her time with her boyfriend and animals on their farm in Hinckley. You can also find her working on her family farm come spring or fall or enjoying the winter months by hunting with her boyfriend.
