On her decision to become a physical therapist
I was majoring in Premed, because I knew I wanted to work in a health discipline, but then I decided I didn’t want to be in the medical field, so I switched to physical therapy. And it just so happens that, at the same time, my father was in a car accident and had to have therapy. Watching him get better and stronger through that rehabilitation process really solidified my decision.

On working close to home
Rochelle is my hometown, and it’s exciting for me to be able to work here and give back to this community. We get to know the patients really well because of the small-town atmosphere. And I get to work in the hospital where I was born.
