Featured Program: IS Internship Program

The IS Internship Program is designed to expose interns to the different roles in healthcare IT. Our program allows for interns to use their classroom knowledge and apply that knowledge in a workplace setting. We want to make sure that not only are interns learning and applying skills, they are also building relationships that will span the rest of their careers.

Radiology

8 week paid program that exposes students to Allied Health.

Laboratory

Program that exposes students to laboratory functions, specifically in specimen processing.

Finance - NMH

Program that exposes undergraduate students to business processes in Healthcare.

8 week paid program during which student nurses partner with a nurse preceptor to develop critical thinking skills, hone technical skills and learn how to prioritize care. 

Grad Admin - LFH

10-12 week paid experience that provides Graduate students exposure to Hospital Operations.

Legal

10 week paid experience that provides Law School students exposure to Healthcare Supply Chain operations and the contracts and negotiations pertaining to such operations.

IS Interns 2023

10-12 week paid experience for both Undergraduate and Graduate students interested in IS as a career.

Patient Access

8-12 week paid experience that provides College students exposure to Healthcare as a Patient Access Intern.

Pre-Med 2023

Summer internship for undergraduates interested in medicine where they participate in clinical observation, work on faculty-led sponsored projects, and engage in educational seminars in a premier academic medical center.

2023 Pre-PA Interns

8 week paid program during which students interested in pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant are assigned a clinical project and complete multiple shadowing opportunities in the hospital and clinic settings.

SDOH 2023

8 week paid experience that provides Undergraduate students exposure to the Social Determinants of Health.

SNE

8 week paid program where student nurses assist in the delivery of both direct and indirect nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse within the scope of practice of unlicensed, assistive personnel.

Supply Chain 2023

8-week paid experience that provides Undergraduate students experience working in Supply Chain in a Healthcare environment.
